During SOHO 2019, Houston, US, the Multiple Myeloma Hub were pleased to host a debate between Thomas G. Martin and Jeffrey L. Wolf, both from the University of California San Francisco, San Francisco, US, on whether we are ready to use MRD for treatment decisions in patients with multiple myeloma (MM).
The interview is a continuation of the debate that started during the session on MM. Concluding, the opponents agree that the definition of MRD needs to be more specific and that, although it may not be ready for prime time use, we are very close.
Are we ready to use MRD for treatment decisions in patients with MM?
