During the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, the Multiple Myeloma Hub was delighted to speak to Hans Lee, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, US. We asked: can belantamab mafodotin be used in patients with renal impairment?

In this video, Hans Lee describes the results of a post hoc analysis of the DREAMM-2 study, where patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma who were treated with belantamab mafodotin were analyzed based on renal function. Patients were characterized into three groups (normal, mild, and moderate) based on the glomerular filtration rate. He also discusses the overall survival rates, duration of response, progression-free survival and safety profile including, analysis of keratopathy and albuminuria.
